This gown gets its name from Ann Bancroft, an absolute powerhouse of an explorer, author, and educator. She made history as the very first woman to trek to both the North and South Poles on foot. Talk about a trailblazer—she was the first woman to ski across Greenland in 1992, led an all-female squad to the South Pole in 1992–1993, and conquered the Arctic back in 1986. Today, she’s using the Ann Bancroft Foundation to lift up the next generation, inspiring girls and young women to boldly chase after their dreams.
