Where do the Qipao dresses ship from?

All orders are shipped directly from our manufacturing facilities in Hangzhou and Suzhou, China, via standard carrier services.

Please note that we are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or other factors beyond our control. Shipping delays may occur during peak holiday seasons, so if you need your items by a specific date, please be sure to place your order well in advance.

How long will it take to receive my bespoke Qipao?

The delivery time for all custom orders depends on the complexity of the design and the availability of the fabrics involved. We highly recommend ordering your bespoke gown 5 to 6 months before your wedding date. For rush service, please contact us at contact@vermillionmuse.com.

  • Standard Shipping: Delivery within 16 weeks (Free)
  • Priority Shipping: Delivery within 12 weeks (Additional $50 USD)
  • Express Shipping: Delivery within 8 weeks (Additional $100 USD)

Who pays for shipping?

The prices you see for our Qipaos already include shipping, so you do not need to pay any additional shipping fees.

Which regions do you ship to?

We primarily ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe, but we can also ship to other countries worldwide. If you do not see your country or region listed, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Do I need to pay taxes and duties?

We prioritize shipping methods that include duties prepaid, so under normal circumstances, you will not need to pay additional customs duties. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that your order may be subject to customs duties and import taxes upon arrival in your country/region, depending on local policy requirements.
Please note that should this occur, Vermillion Muse is not responsible for any taxes or fees that customs may charge you, and you must pay these fees to clear your order from customs. We are not liable for any delays caused by the customs clearance process at the destination or any other circumstances beyond our control. Can I track my order?

Once your order is ready to ship, we will send a tracking link to your email. Please keep an eye on your inbox.

What should I do if my Qipao has a quality issue?

We take full responsibility for our products. If you believe your product is defective for any reason, please email us at contact@vermillionmuse.com with your order number and 4 to 5 clear photos showing the product and the defective areas. We will get in touch with you to advise on the next steps.

Can I cancel my order?

We cannot cancel orders that have already entered production; we can only process cancellation requests for orders that have not yet started. Please send your order details to contact@vermillionmuse.com, and we will cancel your order and issue a full refund.

Can I return my bespoke Qipao?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or refunds for custom-sized orders, as each piece is specially made just for you based on your unique measurements, fabric selections, and customization requests. If your item has a quality issue, please contact us at contact@vermillionmuse.com, and we will get in touch with you to advise on the next steps.

What should I do if my Qipao does not fit properly upon arrival?

Our goal is to create a garment that fits you perfectly. However, we understand that minor alterations may sometimes be needed due to fluctuations in weight or personal fit preferences (such as wanting a tighter or looser fit). If your bespoke Qipao requires adjustments, we will reimburse you up to $30 USD for alteration costs, and you can have the fine-tuning done at a local tailor. Please be sure to let us know if you need alterations within 15 days of receiving your order by emailing contact@vermillionmuse.com. Afterward, simply send us a photo of the receipt, and we will issue a refund back to your original payment method.
