This dress is the ultimate mashup of traditional Chinese glam and Western ballgown romance. It comes in this gorgeous, true Chinese red with a super flattering, high-waisted A-line shape.
I love how the vintage mandarin collar and halter-style shoulders give it that quiet Eastern elegance, but then—bam—the waist and front of the skirt are just dripping in this complex gold and silver embroidery that completely steals the show.
The skirt is Italian satin topped with layers of iridescent tulle, so it looks incredibly puffy and light. The coolest part is the texture clash: the motifs use stiff gold and silver threads with tiny sparkly beads. That contrast between the soft sheer fabric and the structured details gives it so much 3D volume.
When you move, the red tulle swooshes and the beads sparkle. It just gives off this bright, confident, and super classy modern woman vibe.

Bespoke Tailoring Process

Step 1 - Design Consultation

This is the time for us to understand what you are looking for — your style, color preferences and more. We will walk you through the custom-made procedure and provide price quotations.

- As part of the process, we offer 2–3 complimentary sketches.
- Additional sketches can be provided at HKD 500 each, deductible from your final order as part of the deposit.

Step 2 - Measurement

Once we finalize a style, we will send through a payment link and measurement form. Either follow our measurement guide online or arrange for a virtual call to allow us to guide you through step by step.

 

Step 3 - Qipao Production

Once we have your measurements, it may take up to 12 weeks to make the qipao, depending on the style and complexity of the design. We will update you when the qipao is ready for delivery.

 

Step 4 - Local Alteration

If you need any adjustments after you receive your qipao, you can visit a local tailor and we reimburse you up to HKD 300 for the alterations with a receipt proof.
